For seasonal people it kicks in immediately.

Depends on your position. If you start as temporary, it goes into effect immediately. And it's cost + 10% on all items. If you find something on clearance, your manager might be able to cut you a sweet deal.

Fer example, some douche tried to steal a 7800GT when they were like 450 bucks (Canadian), took everything BUT the card. I got it for 200 bucks.

Nah, I have a pretty good job right now but I want access to that discount. I'm trying to get my wife to snag a job there for a weekend so I can abuse the discount.
