I have searched compusa, best buy's website (geeksquad), but i cant see anywhere where they will assemble your computer for you. i can assemble my own, but im wondering if maybe they will provide a year-long warranty, because accidents happen ;)

NCIX will allow you to select your hardware in any configuration and they will assemble it for you.

I don't think I would want the yahoos at best buy touching anything from my computer - just find a small computer store.

Also, NCIX is a Canadian site - click on the USA link to get prices in USD.

p.s. NCIX will price match any online price for the exact item (has to be in stock at the other site)

What do you mean warranty? With all components, if you buy quality ones you will have some sort of warranty on each component. I have not heard of Best Buy nor CompUSA having some type of build warranty on each and every component meaning if one part goes bad you can bring it back and they'll replace it free of charge.

i am actually pretty sure that they all do come with warranties, but they dont last very long (6 months-1year) and thats why i asked about the build thing, it sounded great, so thats probably why it doesnt exist...... sorry to waste your time here, thanks everyone for telling me "bad einstein, bad einstein, when will you learn that simplicity means large corporations will not tailor themselves to your individual needs" :( thx for the help though! :) ill just build it myself, and that way learn things.

There are some great first time build guides around here - one of the forum members has one in his Sig so do a search.

My advice is to take your time, and be sure to ground yourself to the case to avoid ESD.
