apparently you also get coupons for 12% off if you are a best buy rewards member and its the month of your birthday and this would apply since external hard drives are covered by best buy coupons.

not too bad a price for 500gigs if you have a 10 or 12% coupon (so its like $80.40 )


the store i saw it at was near mountain view , ca ... and i know they had 2 left there. i would think this item is on the same sale at a lot of other best buys as well.
 
also, at my BB they had Maxtor 160GB Usb Externals for $44.99. I used the coupon that expires on 10-31 and got two of them for $40.49 each.

But it's usually a better deal than CC. My BB took half the value of the CC coupon whereas CC wouldn't PM the 2 free HD DVDs and honor their own coupon, it was either or.

I probably could have argued the full value of the coupon, but didn't bother - half was good enough....
 
None in my area. Speaking of which, the BB we have is icy cold when it comes to deals... Never saw them carry anything worth my time going over to check 🙁
