Best Buy Bucks rant

I've gained 15 focking pounds over the last 2 weeks eating at Mcdonalds nearly everyday for BB bucks. I have saved up and traded food pieces for coworkers BB bucks so I could buy the Star Wars dvd set. (b/c I'm cheap and dont want pay $53) After accumlating nearly $30, I read on the back of the game board, " $3 BB buck limit on cd's and dvd's." I'm going to try and buy it anyway and hope some pimply faced BB teenager wont be paying attention.

So, you spent ~$100 on crappy food to save $30 on a DVD set that costs $53? Explain to me how you decided that this was a good idea?

$5.08 on the #9 chicken strips meal with large fries. The large fries and the chicken strips each have a BB sticker thingy making my meal actually cost $3.08. Probably not one of my smartest moves but surely not my dumbest. You must have missed the part where I said I have a hard time paying $53 for a dvd set. Getting to eat lunch while earning BB justifes me spending $53 now. Of course now I have to buy a $1500 treadmill.

If I had a $1 for every time I've heard that lately, I could buy 2 dvd sets

Your money management skills suck. Stop eating at McD's, buy a $60 pair running shoes, hit the streets. Save $1500 + $5.08 per meal.

umm...you realize you can't say "my meal actually cost $3.08" and also say that you're getting the DVD for $30. It's one or the other, but not both.

So i hope for your sake that your mindset wasn't "my meals are only $3.08 each time AND I'm getting the DVD for $30"

Buy something you can fully spend the best buy bucks on, then return it for store credit (they put it on a gift card). Then buy your dvd set.
