It's adequate for most office tasks and browsing the internet, and the price is good. However, I wouldn't wait in line all night to get one.

They had the exact same lappy essentially last year for $200, plus 2 years of AOL, so its not that good actually. Last year's black friday was much better :(

This Laptop (L35-S2151) is fetching $550 - $650 on Ebay. We had warm weather here in Missouri... a net $250 profit (factoring in Taxes/Paypal/Ebay/S&H fees) is not a bad take to sleep in front of a store for 8 hours for those that need the money.

You can always use the profit to get a better DELL or something.

I'm not sure what I'm going to do with the $500 in profit I made selling my 2 Nintendo Wii's yet. (10hr wait in front of Walmart... I won the 2nd one at Hastings the next morning.)

I'm pretty sure it was $200 if you signed up for 2 years of AOL, it wasn't included in the price. They had a $379 one last year, but this years $379 one was much better.

That's a great price for a laptop for anybody's basic needs. You can't go wrong with that price item.
Really excellent buy for under $250.

Anyone know of an extended battery that will work with this unit. I got it but finding information about it is like pulling teeth.

i'm loving mine. i stayed in line for 15 hours(was the first person there). got interviewed by the local news too. me and all my friends had a blast. i also picked up the $180 desktop which i sold for $400 so the laptop was basically free:)

i ordered a 512 sodimm which should be here. i didn't think it would run CSS but lookie lookie:

Blatent self-promotion alert. I think I threw up in my mouth a little bit after reading that. Isn't posting eBay links a violation of AnandTech Forum policy? I'd not be bothered, except that I've been yelled at about it both here and on HardForum...

Shameless plug and gloating, in any case. Really bad stuff.

Did you even click the link? It wasn't directly to his auction (if he even had one) but a broader link of all the ones going on Ebay right now, to see how much he can get for his. Yikes. Go swallow that puke, will ya.
