the nvidia gpus are super expensive though. i guess the 4850 is a good alternative but itll probably be $190 ish.

Are there any pre release benches on the new ~$200 nvidia card? I am not sure when this thing is coming out but I believe it was either this week or next. The fact that I have not seen anything yet makes me wonder if it will just be a paper launch. I am tempted to jump on the 8800GT.

There won't be any new nvidia $200 cards for a while I dont think. They are releasing their high end cards first ($400+)
