Good for this week only:

Best Buy Coupon for $50 off $100 purchase when you use your Mastercard

Has a decent amount of exclusions, and gift cards are being excluded about 90% of the time at the register.

But there are still some decent deals to be had out of this. The total purchase has to go over $100 for this to work, but you can find 2TB WD Green HDs for $59.99+tax etc.

It also will work with Clearance and Open-Box items. No one really like Best Buy, or their prices, but sometimes with these coupons you can get a real steal.

Other deals would be like the Black Widow Ultimate 2013 for only $69.99
And combo deals like a 64GB Flash Drive + Naga 2012 Expert MMO for only $57.98

YMMV on what your Best Buy has IN STORE....NO WEB ITEMS/PRICES ARE APPLICABLE (Even ship to store items)

Hmmm, under Home Theater it indicates Denon is excluded, but then under Magnolia it doesn't. To good to be true it would work on Magnolia clearheaded Denon products I suppose, but it sort of reads like it might.

Thanks, OP. I may give this a shot with a Steam $100.00 card. Would make for some cheap games.

Edit...wasn't able to use the coupon at my (Amarillo) BB, it wouldn't scan, and they said the only ones they were able to use were the ones directly from email. Not slamming the OP, but I did notice that the link for the coupon blurs the bar code, as did the FW linky

Hmmm, I didn't see any exclusions for monitors. so you could get a Dell - 23" Widescreen Flat-Panel IPS LED HD Monitor Model: S2340M SKU: 6814943 for $120 + tax.

can I buy $150 worth of qualified stuff, then charge $100 on my mastercard and use a $50 gift card? Would that make my purchase $50 out of pocket?

I tried to get some gift cards (amazon or best buy) and was denied.

I ended up getting a Kindle Paperwhite, which needed manager override.

Wish I knew if VIdeo card prices were reasonable in store. This may beat the 7850 deal on amazon and newegg. Especially if BB matches Amazon.

I sniffed around online but everything seems outrageous.

Maybe a mouse might be a good buy, but would need a bit of filler.

I saw a gtx 640 for 99.99 which means you need a second item . so if there is a cheap dvd/cd/bluray for 5 bucks you drop to 55 plus tax. that has to be okay for a 640 card. the lowest one on amazon right now is 79.99

Would a debit card qualify?

Yes, actually when I was checking out the cashier laughed that it doesn't actually require you to use a Mastercard (no prompts on his end), but was even allowing Gift Cards and cash for the final transaction amount. I used my bank's Debit/Credit Mastercard anyways just to play fair.

Scored nicely though on some clearance EVGA GTX 560 2GBs for $75/pop. Also ended up getting a clearance Corsair GS700 (Corsair changed packaging and the old packaging was on clearance) @ $35/pop.

best buy blocked me from using it. They told me that you had to have the physical email sent from mastercard. I tried to push back and they would not budge. O well guess I won't get the things I wanted :(

That makes no sense. The image displays scissors around the box. Obviously it's intended to be printed out and carried in.

Stuff like this is why Best Buy will never survive in the long term. They simply have terrible, short sighted people working in their stores.

Interesting..Fat Wallet seems to be indicating this is only valid for today and on only 1 item...

http://www.fatwallet.com/forums/hot-deals/1252430/

Not to knock best buy , but bait and switch comes to mind.

Or maybe the coupon was just too good to be true. it reads the 21st to the 26th and it allows sales items and gift cards. that is an amazingly good coupon. Also it does not say one to a customer.

I was able to get the $50 discount at a local best buy. It did not go smoothly, but I still got $50 off my purchase! Thank you Kaos! :)
