Best budget speakers with subwoofer?

I always thought the Creative and Altec Lansing 2.1/4.1/5.1 sets of speakers (cheap at Best Buy) were alright for everyday use for the price, but someone else here might find you a better deal.

Checkout the Yamaha YSTMS50W 3 piece speakers at amazon.com for $91 on sale. Great speakers at a reasonable price.

i got the altec lansing AVS300 for $10 after MIR last month
it sounds ok--- for $10 you can't go wrong
just look at the various bargains sites for any sale going on
