Best budget single video card i5 MB?

What's the use for? Cheap gaming I'd say 5450, if you can scrape up the money get a 5750. Both run very cool.

Also... don't some of the i5's have a (crappy) GPU built in? The i5 661 comes to mind.

If you don't game seriously (and I mean the higher-end graphics games), the dual-core i3/i5 paired with the H55 chipset to use the Intel IGP video works pretty damn good. Some of the H55 MB's even allow overclocking the IGP video. True it's no frame rate champion on the hard games, but for everything else (including gaming on older less-graphic intensive games), it's perfectly acceptable.

budget means how much? for older games a 9800gt is a good choice, GTS 250 can be had cheap too. For something with a little more power for a little more money a 5770 is a good choice.

Hmmm. I read the thread title as something different: "What is a good budget i5 mobo for use with a single video card," vs "What is a good budget video card for an i5 mobo?
