im planning on building a cheap gaming pc, and then upgrade the cpu next year to an used kabylake i7 7700k...
i need some advice on a good cheap motherboard which will oc the i5 6400, i know intel released a microcode update and not all motherboards will allow bclk overclocking..

also would like an advice on cpu cooler, thermal paste, ram, power supply, case...remember im on a strict budget.

thank you.

It doesn't make much sense to buy an i5-6400 now, and then an i7-7700K in only a couple of months.

If your current machine isn't failing, then just wait a few months. Btw, Z270-chipset mobos will be out then too.

You'll have to flash the BIOS to enable support for the 7700K, which means that you'll lose the BCLK OC capability in the process.

i cant wait till the i7 7700k get released, i wanted to build a pc now and somewere next year upgrade the cpu only, i mostly play fps shooters low settings at high refresh rates, so the cpu is very important...

z270 doesnt seem that much of an upgrade except for 3d-xpoint support, also when i will get the i7 7700k i dont need bclk oc capabilities at that point since i can overclock it by the unlocked multiplier..
