Best Budget Mobo for Core 2 ?

I am looking for a mobo that supports a intel core 2 duo

and these are the features that I like

1 pci-e
2 Sata2
1 Ide slot
1 PCI slot
good O/Cing limit

other then those i dont really need anything else

so if you could point to a good cheap board, thx

I am also in the same boat, building a conroe system and need a decently-priced mobo. What about the Gigabyte DS3, I see nothing but raves about how solid it is here on AT. Are new boards coming out that will be vastly superior? SLI is not a requirement for me either.

Do you mean SATA300? If so there is no difference in REAL world performance. Kinda like the days of ATA 100 vs 133. Hard drives in both cases will not use the offered speed of the lower number let alone the 2nd.
