Hi guys;I've got an old Sony Vaio VGN-A SERIES,with,
WIN XP PRO SERVICE PACK3
INTEL (R) PENTHIUM (R)M PROCESSOR 1.500 MHZ
1.50 GHZ 100GB OF RAM
ATI RADEON 9200 CARD.
I need it more to browse the internet and watch live TV streaming.
now which browser will give me the fastest browsing and better flash players for less legging and tools, with the software and hardware i have, thanks in advance.

Pick a browser based on the features you like. They're all about the same with regards to performance, and it comes down to fit/feel for the user. I like Firefox.

FF or Chrome will be better than IE

do not know bout Opera.

I had a lappy with similar specs for 9 yrs.. RIP 🙁

I have a 1.69 GHz, XP Pro SP3, was using 384MB of RAM and could run FF fine. Although I couldn't have much else open. I would also limit the amount of RAM FF could use.

I upgraded the RAM to 1.25GB and performance is much better. Videos are still choppy though, if streaming, and i think it comes down processor, because some videos won't play well even if I download them. I'm using a GeForce 6200 256MB vid card. If it's something else, I haven't figured it out yet.

How much ram does it have?

it says in OP:

my Acer Aspire 3002WLCI is almost the same.

1.6ghz sempron
1.25 gig ram
SiSM760GX chipset
15.4" screen
windows XP Pro sp3

I use IE8 and FF. works like a charm for an old laptop.

Thanks Bro: i've tried google chrome for a few days on my 2 laptops Sony Vaio XP Sp3 and Toshiba win Vista but i went back to IE cause there was 2 things i did not like 1- when going to a form and opening a page and when opening a link page inside the forum when exiting the page clicking X it would just leave the page all together while in the IE it gives the choice of leaving the page and stay in the forum.
2- the Spell check is much better and easier.
And a matter fact i did not notice any fast speed, they both about same.
