You can get the 5.4.11 version of Ghostery here. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/ghostery/versions/

You will need to disable the automatic updating of all your add-ons. This means you will need to update them manually from now on skipping the Ghostery updates.

Ok thanks for the link. I got the old version 5.4.11 installed. Is there a way to update the database but not the program to version 6.x?

Mine is still checking for updates. It should automatically update the library but you can check it by clicking the ghostery icon - click the gear icon - click options - make sure Enable tracker library auto-updating is checked under the general tab. Mine says it last updated today.
