Best Bread Making machine?

I'm in the market for a bread maker and was looking for some advice on what a good one would be. Amazon is a bit overwhelming in that regard 😛

ive done one or two things; but have always wanted to try more
any good recipes to pass along; or a good link to follow?

We have a bread machine that makes square loaves. It's all automatic, and the bread is good, but the loaves aren't very sexy. That might be something you want to lean away from, if at all possible. It's buried so far away that I can't tell you what kind it is. I can tell you that we very seldom (if ever) use it.
On the other hand, I have a Pasta Express noodle making machine and use it constantly. For homemade noodles and spaghetti, it's awesome. The noodles are delicious, it's easy to use, and it's actually kind of fun 🙂
You may find you'd enjoy something like that a little better? The bread machine was a lot of work, didn't work very well (even though it was a high dollar machine), the bread wasn't very good, and it was really an all around bummer.

Bread pans cost all of a couple bucks a piece. Bread is generally pretty labor intensive to make though which is why most people use bread machines.

I have a bread cookbook that my Mom gave me. It belonged to my grandfather. He used to bake all kinds of bread. He loved to bake. Fond memories.
