What is the best brand of ram?
Is DDR3200 the best for a Soyo KT400 Ultra with an XP2800 cpu?

yes, pc3200 is also known as ddr 400 (hence kt 400)

But as to what brand, i would go with corsair micro xms series
man dat is sum amazin shiznit they got there

it doesnt matter
if you plan to overclock and might be overvolting ram quite a bit then maybe corsair would be better choice, the heatspreader has to do some thermal transfer i would assume lol

i think all pc3200 chips are samsung chips, just picked and used on any other company pcb (corsair, etc)

if you dont plan on overclocking, it doesnt matter which one you get

pc3200 isnt JEDEC "approved", so maybe thats why its not being widely used by some companies

Winbond and Geil have true 5ns chips as well.
