The only thing that reminded you it was a bond movie was the main character was named James Bond and it had Judi Dench as M in it. Only had little snippets of classic bond music for a second or two. I would watch it again cus it was a good movie but it really disappointed me with the lack of "Bondness" in the movie.

It's not like the other Bond films, but it is like real Bond - the original books. In the books he is a chain smoking, drunken, womanizing, violent asshole.

He really didn't womanize that much in Casino. He only did it with the one chick. He almost did with the other.

I ignored Connery because he is obviously the best and voted George Lazenby because he doesn't get any credit. Anyone who thinks Connery isn't the best I don't care to hear their taste in movies because it is too different from mine.

Probably Bourne fans.

Craig>Brosnan>All the other wooden/boring/awful actors. I don't know why they made a second one, but thank god they kept the series alive long enough for Daniel Craig. Before, Bond was always just good enough to not be laughable. Well, most of the time.

Bondness=unwatchable badness. The lack of it meant that it had a chance to be an actually good movie.
