Best Board to Run a p3 700 cb0 on?

Topic says it all.
Im kind of fond of the 815 chipset, but its proving to be a headache for me.
Currently using a MSI 815ePRO, which is turning out to be defective.
So I want to look to some alternatives if I dont get this board replaced.
What you bois suggest to run this on.
I want to push the fsb on this baby to 133 minimum.
So if you could put in your 2cents it would be appreciated ;)

Asus P3V4X - Running a P3 700e @ 933mhz absolutly 0 problems. If you get one make sure you use an Asus Slocket!

i'd vote against the asus cusl2. I have one and i've had some problems with it. Good board but the bios needs time to mature.

Is this a BX mobo?
How many seconds does it take to detect your hard drive?

What kind of chipset is that board running?
The 815 is turning out to be a nice chipset.
And I also have a old p2-333, think I can clock that?
And on what board could I have lots of control over for a slot 1 cpu, at 66mhz.

you can clock a 333 on an asus p3v4x real easy. i have a 266 Mhz p2 on p3v4x and It can run up to 348 MHz at 116 bus x 3 or 95 x 3.5 or any combo of multipliers because my multiplier isnt locked and I only am supposed to run it at 66 Mhz bus so its wide open for overclocking on all different kinds of settings.

A week 20 and under p3 700 cbo at 933 is pretty standard on the most common bx based boards, but overclocking past the gig milestone has been difficult on a bx board without water cooling where as the Asus cul2 and Msi 6337 have had better overclocking results in the gig area than any bx board out there right now. I would just get another 6337 that works, and if you still having trouble get a cul2 and give it a shot.I could get my p3700 cbo @933 on my old Soyo 6ba+4 rock stable at 1.75vcore. I can run the same cpu rock stable @933 on my Msi 6337 at default settings. Its just sounds to me that you got a bad board and you spent too much time trying to get it to work.

judgmentday1:

The Soyo is one of the newer model BX's ... time to detect the HDD: so short as to be imperceptible

Thank you for you info.

After knowing all the irritations with the CUSL2 and P3V4X (I had high expectations on these 2 mobos, now I'm really desappointed), I'm considering a BX mobo now. This Soyo mobo really appears atractive with the ATA100 raid feature. I'm not doing a heavy overclocling anyways. The best think is that I can get it in a local store, and if it doesn't work, just goes back the same day.
