Best Board for Wolfdale Penryn

I'm getting the Penryn E8400 in January.....looks like the only Abit motherboards right now that support it in the Bios is the Abit IP35 Pro is that right? None of the other abit boards such as the IP-35E have Wolfdale and Yorksfield listed in the Bios updates. So unless they bring out an update it won't correctly recognize it I'm guessing. Abit has yet to bring out a stable bios 13 for the IP-35E that isn't beta.....hope they do better with the Penryn support.

I know the Quad GT also supports it out of the box but initial reviews haven't been all that stellar......so I'll be sticking with the Abit IP35 pro...unless something else shows up.
Any other motherboards going to have Penryn support come January.....that don't have the double boot issue with loss of power? If not....... looks like I'll be getting the Abit IP35 Pro with Uguru support.

I concur on P35, probably the best route to go. IP35-E is a solid motherboard.

P35 is definately the way to go if don't want to CrossFire at full 16x speeds. If you think you might CF at some point then you would need an X38 motherboard to have both cards running at full speed.

Just placed an order for the Abit 35 pro through New Egg. What is the retail warranty on the boards? 1 year through Abit or is it 3 years? I liked Uguru on my AX8 and without the double boot issue so that is why I chose the Pro.
