Best board for P3?

The MSI 815E Pro has been very good for me. Very high quality and cheaper than the ASUS board. Not sure if there is a BIOS flash available for upcoming Tualatins, though. TUSL has an edge here.

Out of all the ones I have used, the CUSL2-C has been the most feature rich and easy to work with, however the P3B-F has been the fastest and most stable. Cheers!

Nate

I agree with BatmanNate. Asus CUSL2-C is really feature rich and quite stable. I don't know about the P3B-F but I had a P2B and ran that for ages overclocked, overvoltaged and all.

Abit boards offer a bit more configuration in the softbios, but I'd still go with Asus.

I definitely vote for the CUSL2 or CUSL2-C
incredibly stable board.. has been a joy to use the last few months..

amazing overall!

The CUSL2 series (and the upcoming TUSL2 series) are excellent boards, but since I own an Abit motherboard, I figure I should throw Abit's top end FC-PGA2 offering into the ring in the ST6-RAID

Abit also has the upcoming VR6-RAID, a DDR motherboard based on the VIA Pro 266 chipset.

Asus CUSL2 or TUSL2. Tualatins should be arriving shortly, but at a higher price. TUSL2 will support both Tualatins and Coppermines.

How long can you wait?

CUSL2 is by far not a bad choice if you want to buy now and get the Coppermine cores.

I've heard good things about the CUSL2-C. However if I were you I'd get the TUSL2-C which gives you the option of upgrading to Tualatin processors when they arrive.

I have had my MSI-6337 on a P3 933 for 5 months or so. Very stable, no problems on installation,(and it was my very 1st build from ground zero.lol) Price now around $96 to $115 plus shipping. These guys know what they are talking about so those other brds listed above would be great as well Im sure. Just depends on which one falls in your budget. 🙂

had a Black Pearl CUSL2-C...sooooo nice...but i sold it when i found out Tualatin won't run on it...so i stuck with my P3B-F...440BX still alive.
