best board for my amd athlon 64?

hi,i i hagve been researching boards, and have come down to this....GIGABYTE "GA-K8NNXP", best for my amd athlon 64 processor, my x800 video card? also, does it have a good built in sound card, and will it use firewire? thanks

nVidia is the maker of the nForce chipsets. Thy also make video cards and I am sure maybe some other stuff.

The nForce3 250Gb looks good, but you can't always wait. If you need a motherboard now, then the Gigabyte board will probably serve you fine. I only have experience with the ASUS K8V Deluxe (Or whatever the K8T800 ASUS board is). It has been rock solid and a great performer in my friend's system that I built for him, but it was a little pricey.
