Best board for Athlon XP is the SOLTEK SL-75DRV2 ?

It seems many people are having problems with their Epox Kt266A boards.
At tomshardware they say that the soltek is pretty nice and good for overclocking while having stability.

So, is Soltek THE board to have for an Athlon XP now ?

I don`t think there is a best KT266A board just lots of very good ones,the Epox 8KHA+ is working great in my system no problems with stability or setup,it`s really down to price and what features you need between the brands.

No, it is not the best. Do a SEARCH for the "best motherboard" and see can drum up.

Take a look at this. Dr. Tom highly recommends the Soltek board wich is cheaper and more stable than the Epox EP-8KHA+.
The Soltek is an ideal pick for any hardcore overclocker. Even at higher clock speeds (overclocking) and aggressive memory timing, the board runs much more stably than, say, the much-hyped Epox EP-8KHA+.
Conclusion: KT266A Trounces nForce 420D - Soltek is Front-runner

Btw, how can one motherboard compile Linux Kernel faster than an other motherboard ?
For example, the Asus A7V compiles 27.7seconds faster than the Soltek but is wayyy behing MANY benchmarks of games and rendering programs. What makes the difference ?
Is someone using this soltek here ? Can you talk a little about it please ?

I have the soltek board. Its really nice and stable so far. Id recommend it. No glitches good overcloking features and sweet performance make it a good choice.
