Best board for AMD 64 and Ati PCI-E

ATi graphics would work just peachy in a nVidia chipset board

I would recommend the AN8-Ultra but seeing as they havnt actually got around to shiping any yet...

And VIA will perform great compared to the nForce4. 😛

There's not really much performance difference between the A64 chipsets as the memory controller is not part of them.

Yes there is, but I was talking about performance.

On an ES of a VIA K8T890 board:
http://www.tbreak.com/reviews/article.php?cat=mobos&id=349

"Gaming performance on the K8T890 is also similar to nForce4 boards. We'll do a complete round of our benchmarks once the board reaches production level, however, for now, it seems that you probably wont see any difference between nForce4 and K8T890 solutions. We will also be testing overclocking features to see if VIA has improved in this area. We expect the boards based on this chipset to be priced aggressively."

I dont see VIA inclueding the kind of featureset the nf4 boards do. There is more to preformance than how well games run or how well it overclocks.
