Best board for a new Athlon XP chip?

So I've decided to use my incoming Christmas money to pick up some much needed upgrades - anyway I've got my eye on the Athlon XP 1.9 GH processor, and I was wondering which motherboard you all recommend for it. BTW I've already got a lot of memory for my system (picked up a bunch for an unbeatable price - try free 🙂 ), so SDRAM boards are what I'm limited to.

Anyway, let me know what you recommend - thanks much!

I myself am getting a MSI K7N420 for about $165. It is based on the nvidia nforce chipset and is pretty rock-solid in stability and has some great built-in features. If you are looking for a high-quality board and are not too worried about price, you can't go wrong with a MSI K7N420.

For SDRAM there is only one new board to buy: IWILL KK266. Its the ABIT BX-6 of the VIA KT133A crowd. I built a PC based on this MB last month and its a great little MB. I was so impressed with IWILL that I have ordered their new XP333-R paired up with an XP 1700+ to go in the aluminium case that I have been modding for the last 3 weeks.

Sure you don't want to spend an extra $ 40.00 for now for 256MB of PC2100 DDR? You can add more memory later (same brand good idea). That, plus an extra $20.00-$30.00 for a DDR board, and you're back in the game.

I was tossing around the same idea, but have decided to sell my A7v133 with the memory included on ebay. Should bring in a few extra bucks...
