hey, i am in the process of the yearly upgrade and i have a question for those who know and can help

i want my new processor to be in the Amd Athlon 2ghz generation, and i want a board that can wail with it and use it to its full potential, while also utilizing the ram

what would be the best Ram and Mother Board to buy for this kind of processor?

can you give me an idea between

A. best bang for the buck

and

B. The Kick ass Board of the century

thank you
any opinions will be helpfull

You should hold your breath for a couple of weeks, and wait for the SiS 746 chipset boards to come round the corner. First up will be ECS L7S7A. That for the bang-for-buck side of it.

Albatron Nforce2 and & 3200 Corsair (covers both A&B) Provided Albatron stays on track. So far my PX845PEV Pro has been nothing but Stellar. I'm running Samsung PC2700 ram @ 425., but from what I've read Corsair is the stuff.
