Got a last minute notification I'm flying to Houston TX tomorrow for work. Some f'd up layovers both ways.

Bringing my TF101 for gaming/TV shows on the flights. Don't have time to research a good set of headphones, but if I order soon I'll be able to will call them at Newegg later today.

Question though: My Bluetooth earpiece headset for my phones has a slight lag with audio. Completely unnoticeable for calls/music, but videos or games it would be intolerable. Is this inherent to Bluetooth, or just my headset?

Want good battery life, decent sound and comfortable to wear in a plane seat.

I realise this is a UK site, but you should be able to find similar in the US (a quick search of amazon.com returned nothing though). http://www.play.com/Mobiles/Mobile/4-/13863962/-/Product.html I bought one of these a few years ago to allow me to listen to music on an old feature phone with a propriety headphone connector.

You can use your existing quality headphones (i like my Sony ones) and the sound quality is perfectly acceptable. There is a difference between a straight wired connection though.

As a bonus they let me pause/skip tracks without taking the phone from my pocket. Since moving to a smart phone I have found the Bluetooth connection draws less power than the screen so I get a battery saving using this, rather than using the phone to change things.
