I'd like a bigger monitor for 99% work usage = reading & writing email, Word and Excel. I'd like to be able to view larger side-by-side documents and fit bigger spreadsheets. Also would like 2 inputs like my Viewsonic VP191b has allowing me to toggle between two computers.

Does anybody know of a 24-27" monitor that'll do all this well? I'd consider 30" too, but I don't currently have graphics cards that'll handle such a beast.

TIA for help.
Cheers!

You don't need much to handle a 2560x1600 display (unless you're gaming).

My crappy X1300 handles that just fine.
As long as GPU does dual link it's good.

IOW, for general use, a 30" is amazingly nice.

But on more of a budget, 1920x1200 works well.
