I don't care for them very much, but I feel if you are going to have one you should atleast have a flattering stomach. I hate it when you see those blimps thinking they are all cute with there belly rings.
 
A sexy belly button ring IMO is just sterling silver, or one with a little jewel that matches the underwear.
 
My wife has several. Some are dangly, some are just plain studs. She also has a sun one that goes around the belly button. The one she is wearing in this pic, while fuzzy, is her yin/yan one she always wears.

I love belly rings and im old...
then again I like tats and other peircings also...

tongue and "hood" peiercings on a girl are hot.
hood is fun drives them nuts when ya play with it..
