I was curious where I can find the best batch numbers for overclocking. I have a Core 2 Duo that I am waiting on the ram before I can install it in my board and I was just curious where I can find out some info on cpu.

From what I've seen so far, it's just the later the week, the better it overclocks.

Well I don't even know how to determine what week I have... all I have are the batch numbers and whats printed directly on the chip itself.

You'll generally have something like L632A275. The third and fourth digit are your week, in this case it would be a week 32 processor.

They all clock the same. I have yet to see a really bad Core 2 clock that wasn't user error.

Except some of us consider the same clockspeed on less voltage "better overclocking".;)

edit: They'll all go very, very high, though. The earlier chips just require more voltage than later weeks, it seems to me.
