Ok, so I am looking for a big screen HDTV. I live in an apartment so I am looking for something around 42". What is the best bang for your buck both technology wise (LCD, Plasma, DLP) and brand wise?

Wait 6 mos and wait for the price to come down a little bit more for displays that produce 1080p. It will be well worth the wait.

But if you have to get a display now. Get a projector. A BenQ DLP, 2500 + 300 for a screen will give you a 25 foot viewable area. .

FTW.
