At the moment what is the current best bang for the buck Intel CPU for F@H.

I had a bunch of spare parts laying around so I decided to build another cruncher.

It hasn't run SETI long enough to get an accurate RAC. But over the last three days it has averaged 3,540.67. :)

At the moment what is the current best bang for the buck Intel CPU for F@H.

FahMon says that my most productive Q6600 is turning-out 3353 PPD. That is running the 6.0 Linux client in SMP mode on Fedora 7.

My other Q6600s are not too far behind that.

You may also want to ping Markfwilliams. He has some Q6600s in his stable. I have only seem him once in my rearview mirror so I think he's got quite a lot of experience with cruching F@H work units.
