If the 8800gt and 9800t were at stock clocks (600), they would be and should be equal.

DO you have factory overclocked cards or do you overclock?

Thanks Mark and nice job.

All stock (factory overclocks).. Typo, 3dmark06, I corrected my post.

The 9800 GTX+'s I have are beating my GTS 250 cards !!! (on F@H PPD)

Stock clocks on both those cards are 738 core. Mabe you have some of the newer low power gts 250's with lower stock clocks?
They should be exactly the same. :hmm:

Don't pay over $80 for the GT240, because for $20 more you can get this card http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814102901 which is faster than the GT240 and even the GTS 250, and now is better because its the DDR5 version, strange eh?

For $3 more when you consider shipping costs, 4870 1GB for $100 is the best videocard $ can buy today hands down: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-376-_-Product

That's getting 5770/GTX260 performance for $100.

This deal might have expired by now - I picked it up last week. 4850 512 with GDDR5 for 71 dollars shipped, preposterously good deal.

I went with the GTS 250 and am very happy for $70 bucks. The EVGA software that came with it for O/C'ing works very well and the card seems to OC well.

I would have deff gone with that above deal if I had seen it, but looks like its over now. Plus I dont like doing rebates from newegg. Very hit or miss for me.
