best bang for my buck

well i built my system back in november. while i haven't done any overclocking on it, i might at some point in time, but doubt it atm. i've run into a blue screen of death when downloading WoW updates...-=tear=- other than that it runs just fine. i feel it sluggish though for an x2 system. either way, i would like to upgrade my ram to 2 gigs, or maybe 3 gigs if i get another set of xms. so my question is, what is the best bang for my buck. should i just sell the xms(512x2) i have now and put it towards 2 gb and leave it at that? any recommendations r taken seriously if an explanation is given.

notes: i play wow, bf2, cs:source. i like to have itunes/wmp up while playing most of these games, or if not those, there is always an ie/ff page up. it seems i get my biggest problems when alt+tabing, is this normal? wow, i hate to ask for troubleshooting and advice in the same thread. 😛 well let me know. 🙂

Keep the 512x2 and get an addtional 1GBx2 for a total of 3GB. Total Cost to you is around $115-150.
