P4 3.2 or an A64? Prescott sucks right?

I am leaning towards P4 3.2C with P4C800-E, 1GB 3200, 10K Raptor,

I have an audigy, should I snag an audigy 2 for cheap?

I think I'll keep my 9800 AIW Pro.

I'm gonna make a schweet case this summer, so I won't need a new one
Maybe wait a bit for BTX PCI Express etc?

The raptor is loud as hell and I would personnaly wait to upgrade. The amd 64 is going to go to 939 pin and support dual channell, then I would definitly get that over a P4.

I have 2 Raptors in RAID 0 and they aren't as loud as some people like to whine about 😛 The speed is pretty good!

If u can afford it, get a 3.2EE or go for a prescott 3.2e or higher

I switched from an Audigy 1 to an Audigy 2 and it was night and day difference for me. I was pretty happy with the Audigy 2.

According to some reviews I've seen the newer Raptors (74GB) are pretty quiet.

If you current meets your current requirements, gaming, coding, etc then maybe you should wait.
