I'm looking to get a 2.4c and two sticks of 512. I'm looking for the best value ram either pc3200 or pc3500 (cuz pc3700 isn't worth it compared to those two)

I'm looking to run it at 3/2 and cas 2 or 2.5 doesn't really matter (i mean yes cas2 is better but from what i've seen it runs for a lot more) From searching on pricewatch I've found:

Samsung pc3500 cas 2.5 here for $73 (although "samsung or major brand" looks kinda shady on the sites)

Geil pc3200 cas 2.5here for $79

Obviously I would rather have pc3500 for future use/resale value but the "major brands" looks quite questionable

i'd recommend kingston hyperx, super fast ram at a good price (at least compared to corsair). i'm using the 2x256 pc3200 and am running 5-2-2-2 completely stable

you can check out the memory prices at http://www.googlegear.com (the best memory prices on the web imo)

Thats exactly what I am using in my system and it works quite well... the cas is 2.0 instead of 2.5 and mine hit 230fsb!

no one believes me, but lately mushkin's blue line DDR ram has been great bang for the buck.

Using the 10% off coupon ANAND, 512 PC3200 blue (2.5-4-4) is $94.50!

And of course you get the best quality and service in the business. (the blue heatspreaders are pretty cool too)

check their site daily and you may luck out with the module you need with additional savings or free shipping
