I personally love Aerosmith, even though the last couple of albums have been weak.

Just never liked the Stones. Love Aerosmith, Floyd, Def Leppard (except the last couple of albums), most earlier U2, Fuel, Kenny Wayne Shepard...

I'd throw the Four Tops in the hat. Thankfully they're sticking to the old Motown classics in their shows too, and not trying to be "hip". 
they played a show this year and they have not disbanded. which would mean that they are indeed still a band.
