Best ATI Overclocking Tool?

Hey guys, I'm looking for your opinion on the best overclocking tool to use with an X1900XTX. I've been using ATI Tray Tools for general quality settings, but since overclocking is disabled in it I need to use something else in addition for overclocking. I've tried ATITool, but it doesn't seem to have a notion of separate 2D/3D clocks, and it's adamant against letting me set my memory clock above 792(1584 DDR).

What else is out there that's any good?

Sorry, that's an XTX, not an XT. It's an HIS Turbo, so it's rated for 700/1700.

i like rivatuner. it works with ati's 2D/3D clock throttling scheme. good to save me some power when its not in much use.

Okay, how do you get this damn thing to jump in to 3d mode? I'm watching the clocks(without making any changes so far), and it keeps on staying at 500/1200 when a 3D application is running.

As far as I know, the 3d detection services only work with Ati software, not 3rd party overclocking programs.

You may have to disable Ati Hotkey Poller and ATI Smart services to get it to work, and then created 2d/3d profiles in rivatuner (dunno if it can).

Either way though, Ati Tool (not tray tools) is a much better overclocking program than Rivatuner. So I'd use that.

You could also just use the overclocking that comes with the catalyst control center.

CCC seems to have been the problem, I uninstalled that and now everything seems fine. Rivatuner actually seems to be working great now that I have that solved. Thanks.🙂
