Best Athlon 64 3400+ MB would be?

I thought I had my soon to be system all summed up, but the more I read, the more I am not sure I want to go with the Asus K8V...

This will mainly be a gaming maching, with some overclocking, but I need stability cuz this p3 I have now is really starting to p me off.


So if you have a minute, give me a suggestion and tell me why its better.

MSI's K8N Neo Platinum (nForce3 250Gb) and Epox's 8KDA3+ (also nForce3 250Gb) are great motherboards for Athlon 64 Socket 754 users. Take a look as Wesley's review of high end A64 boards from a few weeks ago.

Socket 939 CPUs and motherboards are currently very scarce in the retail channel, and offer only slightly more performance/features. If you're willing to pony up several hundreds of dollars more for the minimal performance gain of S939 motherboards/processors and are willing to wait for it, then that?s your choice. For now, S754 processors and motherboards are the way to go. If you can wait, wait for bargain S939 processors.
