Sometimes on my road trip or work I'm don't have an option for 2nd monitor which I really need for productivity. Is there a recommended app or known app that tops them all is airdisplay worth the money or is there a rom out there with built in support for this feature (looking for 1080p or qhd support)? Thanks

Apps like Splashtop will let you have remote access to do odd desktops tasks on the go. Nothing exists to turn a cell phone into a monitor for Window's desktop to span onto.

For iOS and Mac users, recently released paid app called Duet Display allows you to use wired your iDevice as secondary monitor for your Mac. Their FAQ says Windows version in the works.

You have a PC with a 24" or more primary display and you want to use a 6" or less display as a secondary display?

on traveling or on the road it's not practical to lug around a monitor.

I'm curious as to your exact use case. The concept is interesting, but I'd think it would be hard changing focus from a relatively big laptop display, to a tiny phone display. What goes on the phone display?

Btw, awhile ago meh.com had a usb monitor they were selling cheap. It was powered and everything from the usb port. I have no idea how well they work, but it might be an acceptable solution to your problem.
