OK yesterday i notice that my computer was acting werid so i ran microsoft anti-spyware and it found some and "said it deleted" it but i ran the software again after restarting it seemed it was back.

So i download spybot search and destroy same things happened again.

I even tired to use ms as and s&d during safemode, found some deleted them.

Loaded windows again... guess what their they are lol.

So i looked at my processes running notice two files that look (wrong) they even had same 3 letter word (nws) in them. Boot into safe mode search for these two files. But 4 instances deleted them and now they are gone.

I can not believe that all these anti-spyware software is out there and it can do a simple thing like what i did.

Back to the point. What is a better/best/all around great spyware program.

BTW i have all windows updates xp-sp2 🙁

Thanks,
Chris

Boot to safe mode, clear out all of your temp files, turn off system restore, update MSAS and download/update a trial of spysweeper. Should take care of the problems. Also try a program to remove them from startup first, such as startup mechanic. If you can, download and run startup mechanic, run it, disable anything you dont recognize or anything in the "Harmful" or "Useless" categories then go to step 1. Should fix your problems.

Edit: Then download and install Firefox 😛

Pest Patrol has been the program I've used to clean some of the harder infestations that I've run across.

Panda online fixed a couple of systems that had been stumping me. Panda Titanium AV used to be one of the best spyware preventers I've seen. They didn't used to worry about ticking off spyware companies.

It's not the fault of the anti-spyware software. What you're asking it to do is something that no current spyware software can do, and I believe is beyond the limits of what the OS will allow any legit application to do. So yeah, just run the scans from safe mode next time, they'll fix you up just fine.
