I was just about to start a thread about how annoying Garrison Keillor's voice is...

Kind of naselly and sounds like he's talking with a mouthful of marbles. And the worst part are his ear-shattering, lispy "whistles" each time he says a word with an "s". I often wonder how on earth people came to adore this man's voice for story-telling... Arrggghhh...

It's the same thing with James Earl Jones. He's mentioned SO much, and everyone knows he's got one of the very greatest voices alive today, and possibly in cinematic history, so why should people even bother to mention him?
 
Ever since I was a little boy, people have enjoyed the sound of my voice. And I figure either you get busy talkin' or you get busy dyin'. The work is really quite easy. Why even right now I'm sitting in a chair, sipping some tea, and reading from a script. The wall is covered with something that resembles egg crates except they are soft and spongey, like a twinkie, like a twinkie.

i had to look it up after i started playing the game.

also Liev Schreiber had a pretty good voice, as does kelsey grammer.

Sigourney Weaver has a good voice, heard her do some documentaries...she sounds great.

its not as easy to pick out the ones that bother me until i hear them.

I was watching this reality show with Shania Twain. I couldn't believe how annoying her normal speaking voice is compared to her beautiful singing voice.
 
I'm just gonna bump this up one more time, just to see if anything else will come up. If nothing does, that's fine with me. I'm starting to care as little about this thread as anyone else.
