I grew up in Hunterdon County, NJ and I'll probably be buying a house in Norwalk, CT in the next year or so. Lucky me.

FYI: It doesn't look like Dallas has the highest murder rate, but rather New Orleans does. I heard this awhile back and it seems to still be true. Dallas is a respectible 7.8 to NO's 24.4.

uh oh. I live about 20 miles from miami, which is said on there to be the 3rd worst city for crime...

Actually, from what I've heard it is because we report ALL crimes, whereas many cities list only violent crimes and major thefts....
