I want to move my ethernet-connected desktop PC from the parlor to a room on the second floor in my house and instead of having to buy a ridiculously long Ethernet cord for this, I've been looking at certain USB WiFi adapters like these on amazon.

Needing a second opinion, which of these would be the best item to purchase (or any other not listed) that anyone would recommend for a stable & reliable internet connection and get the most out of my WiFi.

The best is Not USB but this - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...re=intel_wireless_pcie-_-33-106-135-_-Product

If it must be USB - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...e=roswirl_usb_wireless-_-33-166-046-_-Product

The little Thigies that you linked to might be OK for the same room or short distance away, Not to a second floor to a room that needs "ridiculously long Ethernet cor".

Already know a few good PCI-e adapters like the one above and do plan on updating the motherboard soon, but for the moment, yes must USB.

Just never to needed to buy an adapter before and am new to the functions.
