I've used several times and it has always worked great.

But don't forget to back up all your data first! Partitioning is never a risk-free endevour.

You won't regret it. Vista will fly on that machine. I've been using Vista 64-bit for about a month now and I'd only go back to XP at gunpoint (well, and to use my Line 6 hardware, for which there are no 64-bit drivers).

You might want to run the Vista Upgrade Advisor to check if all your hardware and software works in Vista, if you haven't already.

I third using gparted. It did ruin my everything one time, but thankfully I had backups. When it works (which is most of the time) its very easy.

Give it a little time, and make sure Vista, your drivers, and your bios are fully updated. If you still have problems, report back. You may be able to get some help setting it up nice.

i have updated drivers, and the latest bios i havent had any hard locks since the first one (been sitting at home all day :) and playing) Games are running great but none of them push my system so i cant tell.

I have had some times when nothing responds for a moment but hasnt locked up again. So its going good ... wish omega drivers worked though :(
