Best Analog Video Capture under 200

Hi , I do alot of video capture with a brooktree(conexant) based card and the quality is laughable at best.
I would like to upgrade, but most cards are DV, and have no need/want for that.
I will only be capturing from my tv/vcr-analog signals.
Can somone reccomend the best analog card under $200.
Thanks in advance for your input!

If you already have a DV camcorder, you can take the analog sources in through that and have the computer digitize them at 720x480. You can do whatever you want to the video and the computer and send it back to a tape in the camcorder for space storage.
If you don't want to do that, Pinnacle cards are very good. Maybe get one with real-time MPEG1/2 compression?

if your not a gamer the Matrox marvel is the better card for tv amateur. and the capture is in M-jpeg insted of Mpeg.

not for nt/2000 for now, but they gonna put a final set of drivers in a mounth or so...

i know this card is old and is not impressive in 3D but still a good analog capture card for the price
