I cant make heads or tails of whats going on with the mobos now, I want the best performing Nforce2 board out right now, I only need onboard lan and audiio, I will consider all makes Abit Epox asus Etc Witch has the best benchmarks?? Any help be great, thanks

They are all real close right now. The Epox is probably the value king with Nforce audio and Firewire, and great o/c options for around $83 shipped. The "top dog" right now, IMO, is the Abit NF7-S which adds digital audio out and S-ATA/RAID for about $115. The Asus A7N8X Deluxe is also popular, but a bit pricey @ ~$130 and not quite as good @ o/c'ing.

Also, some people seem to like the new Gigasuck board, but I can't suggest it. 😉 😛

Looking at your requirements the 8RDA+ for 83$ is the best thing going for NF2 price/performance.

Thanks for info guys saved me a bunch of time, I guess the Nforce2 is as far as it will go untill the new AMD 64 come out, nothing has changed in 6 months I just read about the Nforce2 Ultras and thought they might be faster, Owell Thanks again

I haven't seen anywhere that has shown the a7n8x deluxe cannot overclock as well as the 8rda+

As for mobo you can't go wrong with the 8rda+ or the a7n8xd

Generally, the Asus can't reach the highest FSB's that the Abit/Epox can...not knocking the board...just saying. 🙂
