best amd oc board

"best" is a matter of debate, but very few would argue that the EPoX 8K5A2+ is a very good overclocking board, and its certainly the board I'd go with if I were setting up an Athlon machine right now - however, if I were setting up an Athlon machine in a few weeks I'd get an nForce2 board, though we still don't know how well they overclock (should be great though, since they have independantly adjustable FSB/AGP/PCI speeds (read, "AMD FINALLY GETS PCI/AGP LOCK!").

probably should be in the motherboard forum, but i think the epox 8k5a2+ is one of the good oc'ing boards. abit makes good oc'ing boards too.

i have a kr7a-133 and abits site says it will only work up to a 2000+
but i put the 2400+ in and it shows up right using the b5 bios
i guess i dont need a new motherboard

I got my AGOIA AXP 1600+ running at 166mhz FSB in my Abit KX7-333R at all default volt settings. I like it, and its really easy to use for the first time oc'er
