Best AMD heatsink

I have a vantec aeroflow heatsink and arctic silver 3 right now on an AMD 2500 barton. I want to overclock the hell out of the processor. I heard with the new green bartons that you could reach 2.5ghz on air cooled. So what would be the best heatsink. Or is there anybody wanting to sell a watercooled system? I may be interested in buying one.
 
The SLK-900 is a great heatsink. Some other options would be the Zalman CNPS7000Cu and the Cu-Al. Zalman also has that case that acts as a heatsink for the CPU, but it costs several hundred dollars as oppose to 30-40. I think SilentPCReview recommends the SLK series of heatsinks more for overclocking severely because the closely spaced fins don't do well for low air flow. Depending on your definition of "Best" that might be good or bad for you. I'm not even sure if it's true, but it's something to consider.
 
up, what about a heatsink and fan combo. and what type of fan also would be good? my amd 2500 with arctic silver3 and vantec aeroflow is at around low to mid 40'sC stock, and mid to high 40s oc'ed. It gets to be 50 when playing games. Thanks

I have the SLK-700. Excellent cooling, cost effective, quiet, me happy 🙂
 
The friggin color of the chip DOES NOT MATTER!!! Green, brown, blue, yellow, spray painted with Intel logos (ok, I made the last couple up) will overclock the same, it has always been hit and miss. My green 2500 tops out at 2.31 stable, 2.37 shaky, but I'm running at 2.23 at a lower voltage. Running your chip at 2V+ will give you a better OC but for less time than you'll have an OC at stock, or near stock voltage.
