i think the board he already has will suffice, use the rest for GPU upgrade

well then i guess that the guy before me posted is accurate... if u DO NOT OVERCLOCK

then a ASUS motherboard + 4000+ is in that bugdet no?

i dont do a lot of research on these things as much anymore, but from what i've heard, the Opty 165 overclocks really well, and DFI boards are about the best for overclocking

Unless that's what you were saying and you just separated your message for no reason

If we are talking no overclocking the 4000+ and the Asus A8R-MVP is my suggestion. I like the A8R-MVP because the retail price is 100 now and it has all the features. Only problem is bad overclocking, don't let any bad reviews fool you, all those were people expecting overclocking performance.

r u upgrading or buying new? if u're upgrading dont forget u need a 24pin psu 4 the dfi which will raise the price of the combo.
