I need to build a stable scientific workstation. It will mount either an Athlon II X4 or a Pheonom II X6.
I will also run some CUDA code, so one PCI-E x16 is mandatory, two is better.
Sata600 is very wellcome, as it is USB3, but they are feature I can sacrifice to save money. What I cannot sacrifice is stability and reliability.
I'm a little confused by the number of different chipsets/SKUs I can find around. Which motherboard would you choose if you were in my situation?
