Best AM2 Motherboard for less than 40$

My friend needs a cheap motherboard to replace the one that just died on him. He already has cpu / memory / gpu but just needs a motherboard that will support all of it. Links and recommendations would be appreciated, thank you =)

There are some on newegg, im just seeing if anyone knows of any good deals. I honestly don't care if its a higher quality motherboard thats open box, I have plenty of connectors / other stuff laying around to make up for a box with only a motherboard.

Personally, I'd go with the 740G + SB700

That's what I'd do too, if staying under $40. Note that the board only supports up to 95W processors.

If semlethe3rd's friend wants a bit of future upgradability, perhaps consider the Foxconn 780G chipset board which will support up to 125W processors. It is currently $67 shipped.

the a74mx-k is probably the best board for $40 at newegg.

i have the 780g version of it and its a great board, has lots of overclocking options even and a dvi port.

it also has am3 support... the 690v foxcon=n doesnt.
